I’ve worked in the Audio Visual field (or A/V) for about 10+ years.
Skills: sound engineering, recording (sound and video), lighting systems, web broadcasting, videography, system design, equiptment operation, mixing and mastering audio, inventory and space management.
Some of the projects I have had the most fun with and really loved were working with Ultimate Light Mission in Sedona, AZ, USA and Dreamscape in Pai, Thailand. Both of which are venues that are big community hubs in the local new-age/conscious scene, hosting regular ecstatic dance, concerts, etc.
During those 10 years, I have been part of the team on stadium installations, churches, making recording spaces, constructing dance and music venues, video broadcasting for various events, such as concerts, lectures, and parties.
Some other private freelance projects were setting up churches and venues for videocasting all of their events during 2020 and the years surrounding. I’ve also created recording studio spaces with sound isolation/mangement.
As a percussionist for nearly 17 years, I have also worked as a drum tech, taking care of, correctly positioning the mics for, and tuning drums.
